Intro to the Zentner Family

Troy and I live in Saratoga Springs with our 3 babies, well two of them are no longer"babies" and the last one is quickly on her way to toddler hood. Corbin is 7, Avery is 5 and Bailee is 13 months old.

Corbin is in the 1st grade. He is gone all day long now whether its school or friends or soccer or football. I didn't think life would get so crazy so quickly. He loves sports, guess its part of his genetic make-up. Flag Football is his newest adventure. Soccer is his favorite right now, he has been playing for 4 years now! Basketball is his next pick, and baseball was a new addition last spring. He has been golfing since he was old enough to go and he loves to fish. He also learned how to snow ski, water ski and wake board this year. He loves to be outside for whatever reason. He is a big fan of everything "Dad" though. If Dad thinks it's cool Corbin is usually quick to agree.

Avery just started kindergarten. She is loving her new found independence and I'm not sure how I feel about that. Aren't kids supposed to be even the slightest bit nervous about getting on the school bus for the 1st time? She is all girl but definitely game for whatever her brother is doing. She started out with ballet and tap and all but hid my keys to get out of going. She hated it! Then it was on to soccer last fall which was a little scary to begin with but quickly became her favorite. Now she is also into gymnastics and wow, there is no way that girl got her flexibility from me or Troy. She also learned how to water ski this summer. Shes not what they call an avid skier, but maybe one day!

Then there is Bay Bay. She is bringing up the rear (for now). She started walking a few weeks ago and now, of course, she has moved on to scaling the outside of the stairs! She loves her sibs. And her favorite thing to do is laugh, which is easy to come by. She is a total ham, She already knows how to work a crowd. And she loves to converse. So far she knows: uh-oh, no-no, mommy, daddy, thank you, bu-bye, hi, poopy, puppy and those are just the ones that I can make out. She will Blah-blah-blah all day everyday until her head hits the pillow at night. She is a tiny little thing but she is getting way too big way too fast.

So Troy and I are just trying to keep up with the kids. I am playing soccer when I'm not cooking, cleaning, driving, disciplining, talking on the phone, tutoring, accounting, scheduling, etc., etc..... But I wouldn't live any other way, I love it! And Troy is still doin his thang, whatever his thang my be. I still am unable to clearly articulate exactly what he does for a living, Investment Banking sounds about right. I do know that he really loves what he does---most the time anyway. He is coaching Corbin's soccer team again this season and the older the kids get the more competitive he gets, a good competitive though. He has started playing a little pick up soccer himself as well, but basketball remains to be his love. He jacked his shoulder up at the beginning of the summer long boarding with some friends, Yes I said long boarding, but that hasn't stopped him from skiing or fishing or golfing or doing anything for that matter.

So that's it in a nut shell I guess. Now that I have actually figured out this whole blogging thing I'll have to elaborate on our life in the future. So until then.....
