Scarecrow Festival

We went to the Scarecrow Festival yesterday at Thanksgiving Point and had a total blast. Troy was even able to come which was a major bonus! Its funny how easily you can entertain kids, they were lovin every minute, ever those silly games. Just give em some cotton candy and a snow cone and its "your the best mom and dad ever", and "I love this day", and "we have the funniest family in the world" and "thank you, thank you, thank you...I love you, I love you, I love you!!!" Wow, was I that easy as a kid?The kids picked out their pumpkins, which were all a little weird looking but my control can only go so far!

Shawn Bradley was there as a rep for the organization putting on this fundraiser and Troy couldn't resist a photo-op. He is huge (obviously) and such a nice guy.

What a fun day! Great cause, great food, great weather, great company, another great fall day!!

Battle Scars!

I admit that I am a bit of a "weekend warrior" but it keeps me young. I was playing soccer and someone came down on my leg with the bottom of her cleat while we were battling for the ball in the air. I got the ball though, and major street cred with Corbin and Avery!

Let the Fun Begin!!!

K, how excited am I that it is finally Fall!!! I love fall! The weather, the food, the colors, the holidays, the clothes, the feelings! We finally got to put up the decorations tonight for family night, followed by a sweet lesson taught by Avery and we always end up with an amazing dessert. Homemade cinnamon rolls--so freakin good! Now its on to Halloween costumes and class parties....Heaven!
